Ordering Info
The PRO-208 supports programming up to 8 devices either stand-alone or connected to a PC. Through the use of interchangeable PACKs, the PRO-208 can support devices in packages including DIP, PLCC, QFP, SOP, TSOP, BGA, PGA, and VGA.

The PRO-208 includes a high speed CPU and an expandable memory buffer to meet programming needs today and into the future. Standard programmer memory is 2Mbits and is expandable up to 2GBytes.

The PRO-208 uses a standard Parallel port interface (EPP/ECP). Its control software operates under Windows 95/98 or Windows NT4/2000/XP.

The PRO-208 verifies the ID code of devices to prevent accidental electrical damage. The PRO-208 has the ability to "Auto-Sense" the presence of devices so programming can begin the moment devices have been secured in place. (NOTE: Some devices  do not support "Auto-Sense").

The PRO-208 is Reliable

We have over 10 year of experience designing gang programming systems for production environments. We have an installed base of over 20,000 gang programmers worldwide in use at some of the largest and most respected companies in the computer and embedded systems industry. We have close relationships with all of the major IC manufacturers so that our engineers are well informed of all of the latest programming algorithm releases. Our company's programming algorithms have been tested and approved by leading IC manufacturers worldwide.

Our dedicated high speed CPU and our new surface mount SIMM module pin driver circuits combine to provide extremely accurate programming waveforms, high speed, high reliability, and a compact form factor compared to traditional gang programmers. The PRO-208 pin drivers are fully programmable to support programming and testing of standard and low voltage devices. Built in protection circuits guard against over current and reverse insertion errors. Every PRO-208 is backed by a 1 year hardware warranty.

The PRO-208 is Easy to Operate

The PRO-208 supports stand-alone operation. The PRO-208 can read from a master chip, erase, program, and verify all without the assistance of a PC. The PRO-208's "Auto-Sense" feature means that operation consists solely of loading and unloading devices from the programmer. (NOTE: Some devices  do not support "Auto-Sense"). No other interaction is required. Once the chips are in place, programming begins. The PRO-208 features an easy to use Windows interface. Only the steps you need and nothing extra to get in the way.

The PRO-208 is Backed by Unmatched Support

Our engineering and support staff is standing by to answer technical support questions, assist you in purchasing, or to add support for new device types. New devices are added daily to keep up with all of your programming requirements. Software updates are available on our web site or by email free of charge.
